Scarface: The World Is Yours is one of those games with the ability to instantly trigger pure nostalgia. Released by Radical Entertainment back in 2006, Scarface: The World Is Yours is very much in the same vein as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas. Players assume the role of Tony Montana in his attempts to reclaim his drug empire.
It’s a game that deserved a sequel and in fact, one was on the cards. Earlier this year, ex-Radical Entertainment devs lifted the lid on the cancelled project, with screenshots and gameplay leaking online a few weeks later. Unfortunately for us though, this game will never see the light of day but one fan has taken it upon themselves to remake The World Is Yours and the results are incredible.
Take a look at this incredible fan-made San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 remake below.
YouTuber TeaserPlay recreated Scarface: The World Is Yours using Unreal Engine 5 and as we’ve come to expect from this creator, it’s an excellently made project. We recently highlighted TeaserPlay’s God of War Egypt inspired video which imagines where Kratos could be heading next following the conclusion of the Norse saga.

Describing the project, TeaserPlay said, “In this video, we are going to imagine a Scarface remake - a great nostalgic game that we need now in new-gen graphics. We tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this, such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman to create Tony Montana (Al Pacino).” For a fan-made project, TeaserPlay captures the mood of the game perfectly.
I did say it was a game that would bring on waves of nostalgia, so you won’t be surprised to find out that fans flocked to the comments to share their adoration. JamesJesse97 wrote, “This needs to be made into a full fledged official product. It’s too good and we need it,” while True Gaymers added, “This is amazing. I’d love to play this.” Me too.
