‘Resident Evil Village’ Plus Other Resi Faves Are Coming To Nintendo Switch

That was a thrill ride. If you tuned into today’s Nintendo Direct, you’ll know that we were treated to a ton of exciting announcements. It Takes Two is coming to Nintendo Switch, N64 classic GoldenEye 007 will soon land on Nintendo Switch Online but most excitingly, we finally now know the title for Breath Of The Wild 2. You can find that out here. There’s more though, my friends. The showcase revealed a particularly exciting announcement for Resident Evil fans: Resident Evil Village is coming to Nintendo Switch.

It was officially revealed that Capcom’s hugely successful Resident Evil Village will soon make its way to Nintendo Switch through the cloud. You don’t have to wait long to get your hands on the game as the cloud version is set to launch on 28 October. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the upcoming The Winter Expansion is also on the way and will land on 2 December.

As a reminder, The Winter Expansion includes a new third-person mode, a story expansion called Shadows of Rose, and the arcade mode The Mercenaries Additional Orders where you’ll be able to play as Lady Dimitrescu.

If you’re thinking, that’s simply not enough Resident Evil, your wish is my command. Several other classic franchise titles are also due to land soon. They include Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil VII, and Resident Evil 3. Those are all scheduled to be released later this year.
