Red Dead Redemption meets Resident Evil in creepy new Western

Another game to add to your ever-growing wishlist

Combining the Western vibes of Red Dead Redemption 2 with the horrors found in Resident Evil, this upcoming survival horror is guaranteed to keep you hooked.

Have you ever wanted a Western game where the horrors of a barren landscape can haunt your every move?

If so, then you are in luck as Hear Tell of Hauntings is an upcoming survivor horror guaranteed to fit your every need.

Developed by Two Stamp Studios, Hear Tell of Hauntings is set deep in the mountains of wild-west era Montana as players take on the role of former outlaw Adelaide Clancy.

Much like Resident Evil, this third-person survival horror game will see Adelaide brave the halls of Wraith Manor in search of a missing sheriff.

In 1897, the twilight of the American Frontier, our protagonist sets off on her adventure after receiving a wedding invitation from two long-deceased lovers.

What follows is a horror game inspired by the classics as Adelaide uses her gunslinger abilities to search a long-abandoned estate.

“Explore the overgrown gardens and derelict hallways of the elegant Wraith Manor. A love letter to the games that pioneered survival horror, the mansion plays host to all manner of puzzles, shortcuts, and hidden secrets,” the official Steam synopsis for Hear Tell of Hauntings reads.

As well as relying on her precise aim, Adelaide will also have to interact with the environment to open new routes and collect treasures but it won’t be long before she uncovers the manor’s gruesome history.

The manor may be long-abandoned but it is still home to some residents and they are less than pleased to be disturbed.

With resources scarce, Adelaide will have to deal with strategic combat and scavenging in order to stay alive if she wishes to uncover the secrets of Wraith Manor before it swallows her whole.

Hear Tell of Hauntings does not yet have a release date but it is available to add to your Steam wishlist right now.
