The latest free update for Resident Evil Requiem is here, and we’ll let you know everything that 1.310 does to the Capcom hit of 2026.
Earlier this year, Capcom’s latest arrival in its iconic survival horror series graced us with its presence with Resident Evil Requiem. The highly anticipated game took us back to Raccoon City as Leon S. Kennedy and series newbie, Grace Ashcroft, roughly 30 years after the city was plagued by the T-Virus outbreak.
However, as great a game as Resident Evil Requiem is, nothing is truly perfect and just about everything can improve in multiple ways. It’s why we see so many post-launch updates that might not only address reported issues but also add brand new content to expand on the existing experience.
Not long after the launch of Resident Evil Requiem, it benefited from two post-launch content updates, the first of which added a photo mode, so that players could take some snazzy in-game screenshots and share them with the community. The second update brought the roguelike mode, ‘Leon Must Die Forever’. Oh, and let’s not forget about the upcoming story expansion.

The latest free update in question, 1.310, mainly focuses on the aforementioned ‘Leon Must Die’ mode by making some subtle but important gameplay tweaks. It also fixes some “minor issues” that aren't detailed in the patch notes, for some reason.

The title update 1.310 patch notes for Resident Evil Requiem are as follows:
Update 1.310 will download and upload the next time you fire up Resident Evil Requiem, unless the deed is already done while your system has been in sleep mode. If so, then you’re good to go.
“As a horror game in its own right, Resident Evil Requiem is a very solid nine out of ten, but as a passionate fan of the series, it earns an additional bonus point thanks to the attention to detail and craft that’s gone into every pore of this game,” I said in my review.
Resident Evil Requiem is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. As for what the future holds for the series, its next game will be the highly anticipated remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
