Although you can end your Red Dead Redemption 2 days in your nearest camp or closest inn room, sometimes you just need your own space and one mod allows just that.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 allowing you to pass the day through the medium of sleep, Arthur can head to his camp’s tent or even rent an inn room complete with a hot bath in order to pass the time. However, living that nomad life means that you can never really call anywhere home. Until now.

Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer below!

Created by Tainaandrei1 on Nexus Mods, the ‘Arthur Safe House’ mod finally allows players to build and customise their own house. Once downloaded, the mod will add a small cabin into the game for Arthur to waste some time in. Complete with a decorated porch, outdoor seating area and even placed overlooking a lake, the cute homestead will give Arthur some much-needed time alone.

The inside of the cabin is decorated with shelves full to the brim with canned goods, a bed that Arthur can pass the time in, a dining table complete with stew and bread and even a little seating area. At night, the exterior will be dimly lit with lanterns and even a camp area nearby with its very own campfire.

The Veteran’s Homestead is located on the outskirts of O’Creaghs Run and the modder has expressed that they wish to add animals or people to the file in the future.

This is just one of thousands of Red Dead Redemption 2 mods that bring even more life to the Rockstar classic. Just recently we reported on a fan-made update that added 10 additional missions to the game that told the story of John Marston’s childhood. Additionally, another mod saw cut dialogue restored to the game.

With rumours of a Red Dead Redemption 3 swirling online, let us hope Rockstar is keeping notes!
