Video game to movie adaptations are all the rage right now but one title that is yet to receive the Hollywood treatment is Red Dead Redemption. However, a fan-made movie trailer gives us a taste of how epic it would actually be.

After the success of HBO’s The Last of Us and Netflix’s The Witcher, video game adaptations are getting more and more reliable after a few shockers over the years. With Fallout receiving the TV show treatment next month, it remains to be seen what adaptation we will see next.

Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer below!

However, thanks to one fan-made movie trailer by Youtuber Entertainment Media, it seems as though fans are calling out for a Red Dead Redemption live-action. The trailer gives us just over one-minute of what a live-action movie would look like and with Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, Death Stranding) at the helm as the role of Arthur Morgan, it’s a damn shame it isn’t real.

The trailer kicks off very much like the start of Red Dead Redemption 2 with the gang coming across a house inferno. What follows is a whole lot of shooting, explosions and stand-offs as we see actors such as Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) also play a lead role in this fan-made concept.

Not only does this trailer host a star-studded cast but it also gives us a tease of what a live-action Valentine could look like, complete with dust-strewn streets, bar fights and even a glance of Sadie Adler. Although it seems as though a Red Dead Redemption movie is not on the cards, a movie inspired by its Western setting would definitely get quite the audience.

In related news, one Red Dead Redemption 2 player has recently found a creepy new secret on their seventh playthrough which demonstrates an incredible bit of environmental story-telling.
