Red Dead Redemption 2 player dumped for calling out character's name during sex

There’s no better feeling than truly finding yourself feeling fully immersed in a game. You know the type of game I’m talking about. An all-time favourite. Perhaps you’ve hit the credits or simply switched off your console for a break and yet, you cannot stop thinking about the world you’ve been exploring. We all need to know when to snap back to reality though.

That’s something that proved to be an issue for one Red Dead Redemption 2 player. We can’t blame them for being utterly transfixed by Rockstar’s epic title. After all, it is undoubtedly one of the greatest games of all time. This player though made the mistake of calling his girlfriend ‘Sadie’ during sex and oh damn. That is a mistake you do not want to make.

For the uninitiated, Sadie Adler is one of Red Dead Redemption 2’s three protagonists and upon release, she understandably got a few players feeling a little hot under the collar. Over on a Facebook fan page, one RDR2 fan confessed (via Frag Hero) that their girlfriend had broken up with them after he “called her Sadie during sex”. Major oops.

I do wonder if his girlfriend knew who Sadie was, or whether she just assumed it was another woman. It’s not particularly better either way. You really don’t want to be hearing someone else’s name, fictional or real, in that scenario. I’m sure there’s no consoling this guy (if he even deserves it) but if it does help, he’s not alone in enjoying what Sadie brings to the game - although there is a group of RDR2 fans who have taken things too far.

All I’m saying is do not go on the r/SadieAdler subreddit. It’s as NSFW as it gets - and not in a good way. More so in a ‘I wish I’d never seen this’ way. Going to stare at kittens until I feel cleansed.
