Rumours surrounding the arrival of next-gen versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been swirling online for a while now and this latest discovery pretty much proves it.
First released back in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 is widely regarded as one of the best video games of all time.
However, with the Rockstar title originally being released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, many fans are hopeful that it will one day launch on next-gen consoles.
Well, the wait may finally be over as a recent discovery shows that a next-gen remaster may be weeks away from being officially announced.

The discovery comes courtesy of Livid-Army-5857 on r/reddeadredemption who found an interesting new option on the Rockstar Support website for Red Dead Online.
The brand-new option, which has been removed since this post was first uploaded 15 hours ago, offered users the chance to issue a complaint about ‘Online Migration’.
So what is Online Migration and why does this prove that a next-gen remaster of RDR2 is imminent?
Well, this is used to help the player transition any stats and progress when moving all of their data from one platform to another, in this case its next-gen predecessor.

Not only that but the option now being removed just goes to show that Rockstar is aware of the potential mistake and wants the chance to formally announce the Red Dead Redemption 2 remaster itself.
Rumours of a potential remaster have been circulating online for months but this new piece of information has fans losing their minds.
“Oh yeah, it's happening for sure now,” one user commented.
“The same thing happened when GTA 5 Enhanced dropped.”

User chrisassin seemed a bit excited when they shared, ‘IT'S HAPPENING GUYS! PS5 ENHANCED PERFORMANCE MODE DROPPING SOON!!”
Now all that is left to do is wait but it is hard to deny that it could be just days or weeks until Red Dead Redemption 2 Remastered is officially announced.
