Red Dead Redemption 2 player finds infinite money trick in Chapter 2, no mods needed

A real-life infinite money glitch would be nice

It all started when one player loaded up Reddit and asked for a way to source some extra cash in Red Dead Redemption 2.

A user called Mandalorian12358 wanted an infinite money glitch as they were playing through Red Dead Redemption 2 again and didn’t want a lack of money to hold them back.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is still a masterpiece after all this time.

Thankfully, the community did not let this user down and the Reddit post had the answer.

Praise be to u/tom_tofurkey who had the best reply and delivered the goods. They went on to say the answer lay in the Van Horn mansion glitch which still works and needs no mods to pull off.

“The Van Horn mansion glitch still works. Enter the mansion, go downstairs and kill the bandits, collect the $50 off the table, then immediately make a save. Reload that save and you’ll spawn outside the mansion, repeat.”

They state that this is a slow way to earn yourself a lot of money, but it’s tried and tested and works every time: “It’s slow since the reload will take a couple of minutes. But the bandits can also spawn wearing the High Hat, which is collectible.”

Given that you don’t really need infinite money, just a nice stack of cash to get you going, this is a great way to snag some extra dollars and kit yourself out.

Another player gives a secondary suggestion saying, “My suggestion would be just go hunt down the gold bars. I ended with like 6K and that was after I bought all the clothes and horses I wanted.” Another Redditor agrees and says, “Each gold bar is worth $500 so 15-20 gold bars is $7500-$10000.”

While having a lot of money in the game is nice, it’s really not needed, unless you want the swag of having full pockets.
