Red Dead Redemption 2 players amazed by hidden smuggler's tunnel most of us missed

Red Dead Redemption 2 players amazed by hidden smuggler's tunnel most of us missed

Red Dead Redemption 2 players have found a secret tunnel under St Dennis

Red Dead Redemption 2 players have discovered yet another secret out in the open world, this time a hidden smuggler’s tunnel.

While wandering across Red Dead Redemption 2’s Western US, you can find a lot of strange things - in fact, we’ve compiled some of the more wild discoveries into a list.

Check out Red Dead Redemption 2 below.

Now the game has been out for over five years, and as good as Rockstar Games is at crafting open worlds, it’s safe to say that just about everything in the game has been found already.

However, for new players discovering one of these secrets is a big deal, and there’s still a surprising amount of long-time players who haven’t seen everything the game has to offer just yet.

One player, Roflcopter_26, shared a video on Reddit of one of their most recent discoveries, an underground tunnel underneath the Cornwall Freight Yard in Saint Denis.

It’s a minor discovery, but one that players who pre-ordered the game will likely be familiar with.

One player said it “looks like a smuggler's tunnel. Still can't believe we're finding new stuff like this.”

Another added, “This game is massive, every detail, it’s outstanding. I love it when people find new things like this.”

Finally one player shed some light on the tunnel’s purpose, saying if players had pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the game, you’d go to this part of the map as part of a “treasure hunt”.

Of course, if you didn’t pre-order, it’s literally just a tunnel, but it makes for a killer getaway path when being chased down by the police.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has more secrets than you’d think, so if it’s been a while since you played it, or if you haven’t played it all, I’d suggest fixing that before GTA VI is the next big thing.
