Red Dead Redemption 2 hidden area of map leaves fans confounded

Seriously, what is the point of this?

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are questioning the purpose of a secret area on the map, leaving many confused.

To say that the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 is huge would be an understatement. Not only in terms of scale, but all the activities that you can partake in, such as bounty hunting, gambling, fishing, robbing a train and much more.

Despite Rockstar Games initially releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, even if you’ve spent an ungodly amount of hours with the game, there’s a good chance that you still missed tons of secrets.

Furthermore, even more secrets will soon be discovered courtesy of new fans coming to the game, if rumours of the Red Dead Redemption 2 remaster are believed.

One such secret is one hidden in plain sight. We can all see it on the map, and it even has a name (Tempest Rim), but we can’t access it. At least officially.

“What is the point in half of Ambarino being out of bounds? Why even bother having it there in the first place if we can't get to it?” asked Redditor Alotofbytes.

“I glitched into it with the help of multiple alcoholic beverages,” replied RockandStone101 with Whovian1156 adding, “You can do the same thing to get into Mexico.”

The Redditors are referring to a glitch of Athur Morgan getting very drunk, next to an out of bounds area. He will soon pass out and with a bit of luck, he might respawn outside of the intended map.

“Devs hate this simple trick. Once, after a bender, I woke up to find all my bandit challenges magically completed,” revealed Strgwththisone.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and hopefully, we’ll get the remastered version soon and if that happens, we’ll update you right away.
