As we near the end of August, PlayStation Plus users will be looking towards the next announcement of free games as part of their subscription.

September could bring a wealth of riches, or serve up some duds that simply doesn’t excite PlayStation users.

As usual, subscribers on social media and message boards are taking a chance on guessing which games will make the cut.

Over on Reddit, it has become a tradition, established by MeDungeon, to guess three of the games that will make it into the subscription as games to keep forever.

Each month, this takes place and other users jump in to put forward their choices, sometimes with surprisingly accurate success.

So, what are fans hoping to see? Or which are they sure will drop into PlayStation Plus Essential for September?

A few Redditors are hoping to see LEGO Horizon Adventures, which would be a goos shout for the next game.

Not only is it a big Sony franchise, but it would appeal to young and old, and while it did well in reviews, it wasn’t a huge commercial hit.

Another topping the guesses is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, while other users are hoping for Hollow Knight, after the release date announcement of its follow-up.

Perhaps the most common pick is Atomic Heart, which comes up from several users, and stands a good chance of being included given how long the game has been out, and its reception among players.

Another game that is gathering steam is the superbly funny, Thank Goodness You’re Here!, which we loved here at GAMINGbible.

More people need to play this quirky, and downright hilarious, game, so putting it out on PlayStation Plus would get more people experiencing it.

Will any of these be correct? We should find out very soon, when Sony announces the list.
