I’m imagining that many of you may soon find yourselves returning to Red Dead Redemption 2, or beginning it for the first time.

Why? Because it’s about to land on PlayStation Plus.

As of 21 May, extra tier subscribers will be able to download and enjoy this Rockstar classic.

If that’s you, I’ve got a fun hidden loot spot you should take note of that may even have gone unexplored by you seasoned players.

This spot was brought to light by YouTuber MrBossFTW. If you’ve played Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll know that there’s plenty of shacks dotted around the map.

These can yield both worthwhile and underwhelming rewards.

If you head on over to a shack just to the south of Emerald Ranch though, you won’t be disappointed.

Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.

The burnt down shack may not look very lucrative, but you can take a staircase down to a somewhat hidden basement.

There you can loot several provisions, from valerian root to cigarettes, but it’s a set of shelves you’re going to want to pay attention to.

A series of matches have been left on the shelf in the shape of an arrow, directing you towards a hidden treasure.

Follow the direction of the arrow and you’ll come to a stone wall.

There may not be any visible loot but if you take a good luck around, you should locate a movable stone on the wall which is hiding a hidden stack of cash.

That’ll reward you with $50.

It’s definitely a good hiding spot so major props to you if you managed to find this by yourself on a former playthrough.

For the vast majority of us though, it’s something new to look out for.
