One of the PlayStation 5’s best-looking games is now looking better than ever on PC.

The game in question is 2021’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart from Marvel’s Spider-Man developer, Insomniac Games. “Ratchet & Clank are back! Help them stop a robotic emperor intent on conquering cross-dimensional worlds, with their own universe next in the firing line,” reads the synopsis. “Witness the evolution of the dream team as they’re joined by Rivet – a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension.”

Without question, the latest Ratchet & Clank game on Sony’s newest console pushed the PS5 to its limits not only in terms of visual fidelity and performance but also offering epically fun platforming action.

However, as long as you have a capable PC, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is promising to be better than ever, outperforming its PlayStation 5 counterpart. As reported by DSOgaming, a new trailer has been released which showcases the game being powered by Nvidia RTXIO and taking advantage of DirectStorages’s GPU decompression.

What’s more, the PC port of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will support DLSS 2/3, FSR 2.0 and XeSS. Furthermore, as long as you have the tech, you can marvel at the game's super smooth framerates in glorious 4K thanks to DLSS 3 in addition to ray tracing support.

In our review of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, we scored it a perfect 10, saying: “This is the sort of game that everyone can play and enjoy, and although it's a shooter through and through, it's not violently graphic and the storyline is lighthearted and easy to get along with.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is out now on PC and PlayStation 5. It’s also available to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers at no extra cost.
