Xbox gamers stunned by free 9/10 surprise download

Xbox gamers can get stuck into one of 2022's most underrated video games right now. The announcement came right out of the blue and, better yet, it'll be free for most Xbox owners.

Whether you play your games on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, there are plenty of free games to be had, not to mention subscription services and loyalty schemes where you can net free store credit. PlayStation has a pretty decent one, and it's easy enough for Steam users to get their hands on store credit. But the real big winner this month is Xbox, with an absolute banger of a game that got a stealth announcement.

If you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription you can get your hands on A Little To The Lift from February 15 for free. Over on Steam it has a 9/10 rating, making it a really rather wonderful lil' game that's definitely worthy of your time and attention.

A Little To The Left is an absolutely delightful chill puzzle game in which you're presented with a series of low-stakes brain teasers. There's a touch of Professor Layton to many of the puzzles, which have multiple solutions that reward out-of-the-box thinking.

"A Little To The Left is a cozy puzzle game that has you sort, stack, and organize household items into pleasing arrangements while you keep an eye out for a mischievous cat with an inclination for chaos," reads the game's Steam description.

“Check out this playful and intuitive puzzler with 100+ satisfying messes to tidy.”

It's a game I'd personally recommend to anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of noisy AAA action games, so if you're after a change of pace then make sure you don't miss this one when it lands on Xbox Game Pass in a few weeks.
