The greatest The Legend of Zelda game of all-time is about to somehow get even better, as it’s being remade in the style of the legendary Japanese animation giant, Studio Ghibli.
Alright, I know we all have our favourites and I’m not going to judge anyone for picking one different from mine, but I personally think that Nintendo’s 2000 N64 title The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is the best game in the franchise.
It’s creepy, it’s beautiful, and it’s got a boatload of replay value– it’s borderline perfect.
But, you know what could make it better? If it looked like a Studio Ghibli film.

Well, guess what? Someone is remaking the entire game in Unreal Engine 5 using that exact style, and their name is RwanLink.
RwanLink is probably one of the best known names in the Zelda modding scene, and their previous work remaking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time made some huge waves back in 2023.
They’re back again, and this time they’re tackling The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Gotta say, this one looks even better than their last effort… but don’t take my word for it, because here’s what the commenters have to say about it.
“I showed my sister that loves Majora's Mask and Studio Ghibli stuff”, commented user @MonsterMind64.

“After she watched it on YT she goes "Is this real? Are they making this?" Amazing job!”
“Amazing as always! But something special about to being MM!!” replied user @Rai_11.
“I'm so excited for this! Going to be amazing!” commented user @Nuadacube.
“Currently replaying through Majora's Mask 3D. Perfect timing!”

Kinda makes you wonder why Nintendo opted to go for a live-action The Legend of Zelda film instead of just animating it like this, huh?
Oh well, hopefully they decided to do it this way in the future…
