
Stardew Valley fans are hyped for a big announcement that’s likely to take place this week, and we’re all for it.
Stardew Valley is the poster boy when it comes to the term “indie darling”. Originally released in 2016, this delightful game was developed by just one person, Eric Barone, otherwise known as ConcernedApe.
Over the years, as Stardew Valley has grown in popularity, as has the massive pile of free content updates.
At the time of writing, despite being announced in October 2021, ConcernedApe's Haunted Chocolatier does not have a release date. However, we’re sure it will be well worth the wait and when that release date information drops, we’ll be sure to update you right away.
Stardew Valley Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
This week is the 10th anniversary of Stardew Valley, which was released on 26 February 2016. In celebration, the aforementioned Eric Barone is expected to reveal all the juicy details for the upcoming free 1.7 update.

What we know so far is that the 1.7 update will include two new marriage candidates, as well as NPC behaviour improvements and much more. We’ll keep you posted when those details arrive.
Yet, the 1.7 update is not the only announcement that Stardew Valley fans will be looking forward to this week, because it looks like more concert dates are set to be revealed.
Stardew Valley Concert Is Music to Our Ears
The latest Stardew Valley concert, ‘Symphony of Seasons’, toured worldwide in 2025/26 and features an epic 35-piece orchestra performing soundtracks from the game.
In total, 120 tour dates were announced for more than 20 countries, but now that we’re in 2026, those dates are coming to an end soon. However, it looks like additional new dates might be on the cards.

With only 10 dates left, at the time of writing, the official Stardew Valley concert account on Twitter has teased “BIG NEWS” this week, and many fans are hoping that ‘Symphony of Seasons' will be coming to South America.
“BRAZILLLLLLLL” yelled AcervoStardew.
“CHILE PLEASE!” pleaded Hinadeshu.
Many fans on the thread have also declared their hope that Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons will also come to Poland.
At this time, we can only speculate whether dates will be announced for the concert. So it might be a good idea to follow the official social media pages so that you can be kept updated on any further announcements.
