Xbox Game Pass has become an increasingly compelling offering over the years, encompassing hundreds of games on both the proprietary console and PC. Across its various tiers, players have access to everything from darling indies to day one releases for some of the biggest games around.
Happily, the service also refreshes its list of games all the time, and nine new titles are set to go live on the service through August. Xbox will be releasing the games incrementally, with Assassin's Creed Mirage looking like the pick of the bunch at this stage. Here are the nine games you can expect to see on Game Pass in the coming days:
Rain World - August 5 (Ultimate, PC, Standard)
Citizen Sleeper 2 - August 6 (Standard)

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders - August 6 (Standard)
MechWarrior 5: Clans - August 6 (Standard)
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap - August 6 (Standard)
Assassin's Creed Mirage - August 7 (Ultimate, PC)
Advert
Aliens: Fireteam Elite - August 12 (Ultimate, PC)
Hellblade 2 Enhanced - August 12 (Ultimate, PC)
9 Kings - August 14 (Ultimate, PC)
Hellblade 2 is the impressive sequel to the critically acclaimed game of the same name, as protagonist Senua continues her struggles in mythical 9th century Iceland. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is also well worth a go and is comfortably one of the best games set within the iconic horror franchise (alongside Isolation). It places players into a squad before tasking them with taking on the worst the Xenomorphs have to offer.

Our other pick would be 9 Kings, a roguelike kingdom builder where you're tasked with amassing an army and defences to take on rival rulers from far off lands. The game currently sits on Very Positive reviews on Steam from 10.5k ratings, marking it out as one of the most universally liked releases on this list.
With plenty to jump into, just make sure your subscription is active and you're at the requisite tier to take advantage of these new releases on the Game Pass storefront.
