Starfield player shares tip they wish they'd known 200 hours earlier

One Starfield player has just shared a tip they wish they’d known 200 hours earlier, so you better buckle up and take note.

Starfield offers an incredibly vast galaxy. Despite being out for well over a month now, very few players have actually visited all of Starfield’s various planets. Then again, not all of us have the patience to. If you just want to blast through the main missions and factions quests, that works too. Bethesda has crafted such a wide playground that players really can play in whatever style they find to be the most fun. Thankfully though, the more dedicated Starfield players are sharing their wisdom with us mere mortals. One recently stumbled across a planet that’s basically an XP farm - and today, another has shared a must-know tip.

Take a look at some of our favourite Starfield wins and fails below.

The tip was shared over on Reddit by user Historical_Age_9921. It’s no secret that Starfield’s traversal has faced heavy criticism. There are no land vehicles, so running can take up a lot of your time - even more so when you’re taking oxygen levels and encumbrance into account. Historical_Age_9921 wrote, ā€œPut one point into botany and build an outpost on Jemison to create Argon, Metabolic Agent, [and] Toxin. Then mass produce AMP.ā€

Once you’ve produced a decent supply of AMP, simply add it to your favourites where you can activate it non-stop giving you what the Reddit user calls ā€œpermanent +35% movement speed.ā€ Genius. Your outpost should keep your supplies thoroughly stocked. It might be worth storing some in your ship cargo so you don’t have to return to the outpost too often.

The tip garnered a whopping 3.9K upvotes. ā€œGenius. I have botany already but missed this trick for 300 hours. I’m off to make a new outpost,ā€ one user remarked. Channel your inner Walter White and get producing.
