The Wolverine is heading to the Wild West in the latest development of his comic book series, Wolverine: Revenge.

The Marvel multiverse is never kind to Wolverine, as most of the time his backstory is sowed with pain and tragedy, most people don’t like him, and he typically has enough blood on his hands to drown New York City.

He got a slightly cheerier ending in Deadpool And Wolverine, but not that much better

If you’re not caught up with the latest comic book lore at the moment he’s The Winter Soldier in the new Marvel Ultimates universe, but that’s not what we’re talking about today.

Today we’re talking about the return of Old Man Logan, which can be found in the latest issue of Wolverine: Revenge.

Old Man Logan is a famous interpretation of the character seen in his own spin-off series, where he survives a world that has hardly any superheroes left in it, and the ones that have stuck around like Hulk are nothing like their former selves.

In the fourth issue of Wolverine: Revenge we see Logan on horseback travelling to safety, which in his case is usually a bar.

He meets up with some other heroes like Captain America and Ant Man in a preview for the upcoming issue, and it’s all very Red Dead Redemption if we do say so ourselves.

You can find the preview for the fourth issue online, with the issue itself scheduled for release on 22 January, where you’ll get the full story.

If you’re a fan of Wolverine and haven’t been reading this series yet, change that, as it’s good stuff, but I’d understand if you’d rather wait for a collection or something along those lines.

Now I kind of want to see a mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 that turns your character in Logan…
