In the words of Fallout, “War never changes”. As such, don’t go expecting anything other than an authentically grim experience when you play this new WWII experience.

Available on Steam, this free download ensures you see all the blood, sweat, and tears of its characters as you fight your way through.

Even though it’s not the only game of its kind on the platform, it appears to be one of the grittier experiences out there.

Allow us to set the scene for this “coming of age” tale, told through the words of 63 Days’ synopsis.

“I'm part of the first generation born in a free Poland, after 123 years of foreign occupation. I grew up believing our freedom was safe, but the outbreak of World War II shattered that hope.

“We're angry and tired, but also determined. We're itching to do something, to reclaim our normal lives. My companions and I feel we have only one choice: to get revenge and win back independence for our city and nation, or die trying.”

The story outlined here sounds epic.

However, likely not one you want to commit to purchasing if you’re uncertain whether its gameplay will be to your liking.

This is where the free download for this PC title becomes invaluable.

Now, it should go without saying, but this freebie is for a demo of the game and not the full release.

Although we know you’d prefer a full game for free, this is all that’s on offer at this time. Considering it’s free, what have you got to lose by trying it out?

If you like it, all you need to do is purchase it to continue with your journey.

Will you join the uprising or not?

Steam’s 63 Days is out now if you’re ready to join the cause.
