The weekend may be over but that does not mean that you can’t enjoy a brand-new week with an underrated game courtesy of Steam.
Being a PC gamer pays off thanks to Steam with the Valve storefront offering users the chance to dive into brand-new games and try before they buy.
This is courtesy of its Demo page which, as you can guess, allows PC gamers to download and play a game for a limited time either ahead of its full launch or just to see if they enjoy it before committing to its full price.
It is also an excellent way to discover some games you may miss otherwise which is why we have put together a list of eight brand-new free downloads that have been added to the Steam storefront in recent days.

So without further ado, let us take a look at what’s up for grabs.
Mythswayer - a turn-based rogue-lite where you will embark on an epic fantasy adventure. With each run offering new challenges to overcome, you will have to journey through magical tomes filled with danger, secrets, and powerful discoveries.
N.O.X. - a co-op horror game for 1-4 players. You will take on the role of paranormal investigators and are tasked with finding clues, identifying spirits and most importantly, banishing it once and for all.
Useless Timmy - fans of old-school platformers will love this addition to the genre. Complete each level as quickly as possible as you journey across multiple islands, each with their own unique mechanics.

The Hollow Lighthouse - a first-person survival horror title set on a mysterious, fog-covered island. You will be in charge of fixing a broken lighthouse but you soon discover that there is more to the island that meets the eye, especially at night.
Deadliest Pigeon - play as a killer pigeon in this hero shooter game. Using physics-based weapons, you can take down enemies as you use your grappling hook and swing through levels all in order to avenge your little chick.
Wish Witch - a fast-paced roguelike with stylish dashes, flashy skill effects, and epic boss fights. With a pixel-art style, you can conquer the world in style.
Don’t Freeze - in this card game, you will be tasked with one thing: surviving. Explore, gather resources, craft, hunt, die, and repeat and hope your deck will support you all the way.

Singularity - a “classic-style, top-down, story-rich, 2D RPG” set in a hypothetical future wherein AI achieves intelligence and wishes to eliminate humanity. A little close to home but not a game you want to miss out on.
