Stardew Valley fans, you can't miss this free Steam download

Oh my, this is adorable

Fans of cosy games and the likes of Stardew Valley are in luck, as there’s a new farming sim on Steam, and it has a free demo for you to check out.

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I love about these sim games, Stardew Valley included, is the ability to actually afford comfortable housing, and find true love.

Both of which seem so utterly impossible in the modern age. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Anyway, if you want something new to play, something that allows the freedom of farming new lands without wasting any time or money, and finding love with the person of your dreams, then you need to check out Firefly Village.

In this cute, pixel art sim, the developers have created a “bite-sized, streamlined farming sim that focuses on moments that matter.”

Essentially, you’ll do some of the work, but you won’t have to toil too hard in order to achieve your dreams - there’s no rush, no deadlines to meet, you can just take your time and meet your goals.

According to the Steam page for the game, there’s no mass farming, no frustrating moments when you have to grind for resources, just chill vibes.

The beauty of this is that you can sink in hours if you want to, or you can pick it up for 15 minutes, get some chores done, then dip out and play something else.

Firefly Village is getting rid of that need to put in hundreds of hours, which is great for those with tight schedules.

Plus, it just looks lovely, too. Bright pixels pop from the screen, and the animations are cute as hell.

I’ve added it to my wishlist on Steam because I can’t afford my own home, and last night I cried into my cereal from loneliness. I’m honestly doing very well, I promise.
