Some lucky Xbox fans will be able to play Starfield at launch at no additional cost, with a new limited-time online giveaway.
We’re weeks away from the official release of Bethesda’s next major title, Starfield, it’s almost here. The Game Of The Year contender has been on a lot of people’s minds recently, as thousands of gamers think about what they’ll do first in the game’s vast, explorable galaxy.

Some are even planning to take some sneaky sick days off work, as they prepare to sink thousands of hours into the RPG.
For Xbox fans, playing Starfield on launch day is as easy as having access to Xbox Game Pass, which will feature Bethesda as soon as it releases, including a bonus DLC download.
If you’re one of the few who own an Xbox but don’t have a membership to the subscription service, you’re in luck, as a new offer will let you try it out for a limited time for just $1/£1. That’s not the offer we’re talking about today though, because a select few can grab three months of Xbox Game Pass for free, provided they win this latest giveaway.
Twitter user StarfieldNews recently made a post saying they’d like to “give everyone the chance to play Starfield”, and will be doing a giveaway every week for the fans. This will last until the 1st of September, a few days before the big launch day.
This week, five Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships are up for grabs, with each membership lasting three months, more than enough time to give the game a go and sink some hours in. Entering the giveaway is as easy as retweeting the post.
Interested players have until the 11h of August to enter, but don’t worry if you miss it or don’t win, more giveaways will take place every Friday until Starfield releases.
Starfield officially launches on the 6th of September later this year.
