This Stardew Valley mod adds a whole new challenge to the game, and it’s well worth a try for endgame players.

Stardew Valley is the gift that keeps on giving. It’s often described by players and critics as one of the best games ever made and for good reason. It has everything you could ever want in a farming simulator, whether you’re looking for a relaxing experience or something to grind for the next few months.

While it occasionally receives a new content update, including one on the way for January according to the developer’s latest teases, the additions have gradually slowed down since the game’s release.

Luckily, the modding community is out in full-force to add a variety of new stuff to see and do for anyone wanting to bolster their farm life experience.

One such mod is Stardew Valley: Deepwoods, which will add a brand-new dungeon for you to explore containing unique challenges and rewards. Be warned though, this dungeon is not for new players so you should only venture there if your current save file is in the late game, when you’ve got more advanced tools and equipment.

In short, Stardew Valley: Deepwoods adds the Deepwood area to the game. The mod creator describes it as “something similar to the mines, but with wood instead of stones as the major regrowing resource.”

No two Deepwoods will be the same either, meaning you can guarantee you’ll have a different version to explore compared to other players, though that isn’t to say you can’t explore it with friends in co-op.

So if you fancy adding even more content to an already near-endless game, this mod should be well worth your consideration. That being said there are plenty of other mods out there to enhance your gaming experience so don’t worry too much this one isn’t your cup of tea.
