PlayStation has officially unveiled stunning new hardware coming later this year, but I need it right now.

Yesterday, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions treated us to a 20 minute gameplay presentation of the upcoming Ghost of Yōtei, the sequel to 2020’s Ghost of Tsushima.

Set in the 1600s, roughly 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, starring Daisuke Tsuji as Jin Sakai, in Ghost of Yōtei, we play as a new hero named Atsu, played by Erika Ishii.

“Atsu’s quest across Ezo will take her to unexplored lands as she seeks out a gang of six outlaws. Along the way, she’ll encounter far more than she could have wagered for at the journey’s outset,” reads the synopsis of Ghost of Yōtei.

At the very end of the Ghost of Yōtei gameplay presentation, Sucker Punch Productions had one more announcement.

It was revealed that Ghost of Yōtei is getting two limited edition PlayStation 5 consoles, two limited edition DualSense controllers, as well as console covers.

Each of the consoles, controllers and covers has the same artwork, but the only difference is that one will be white and gold, while the other will be white and black.

The console bundles are only for the PlayStation 5 slim and not the OG model, which hasnt gone down well with some fans. Each console bundle will come with a digital copy of the game and the DualSense controller.

While not having a PlayStation 5 Pro version of the Ghost of Yōtei console bundle, you will at least be able to pick up a console cover for Sony’s enhanced gaming machine.

The console bundles and accessories will launch alongside Ghost of Yōtei and will be available via PlayStation Direct and select third-party retailers. Sony says that further information regarding pre-order prices and dates will be shared soon.
