PlayStation Plus subscribers warned they have one last chance to play 10/10 free game

It's a beautiful 'must-play'

There are hundreds of games available through PlayStation Plus at any given time and sometimes it’s a little overwhelming. Thankfully there are always recommendations floating around.

In a recent thread on Reddit, players have been recommending one particular game where a user remarked, “The art style, graphics, and sound design are among the best experiences I've had in my years of gaming.”

The Artful Escape is a wonderful journey through music and surrealism

I have to agree with this Redditor who is talking about The Artful Escape. The game is a psychedelic musical journey with visuals drenched in eye-popping colours. It’s a short adventure but one filled with memorable moments.

The original poster was asking for similar games to play and, of course, the subreddit didn’t let them down.

One reply reads, “I get Oxenfree vibes from this storytelling - although Oxenfree's dialogue system is more complicated.” This isn’t a bad shout, but another reply recommended Sayonara Wild Hearts which shares the music and colours, plus it’s a knockout game.

The Artful Escape is hard to pin down to one genre, so many Redditors ended up putting forward games that are colourful and accessible, “Lost Words: Beyond The Page and Chicory: A Colorful Tale” says one user.

We’re not sure when the game is due to leave PlayStation Plus but you should definitely give it a try while it’s available for free. You can think of it like a walking simulator, there are no difficulty spikes and a lot of the game is an engaging narrative.

If you’re looking for something that leads with its story and is low on action you could also check out, “Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, What Remains of Edith Finch, Dear Esther, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and Gone Home.”

All you need to play this and many others is an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
