PlayStation Plus drops bonus free gift all subscribers can claim

Sony celebrating the anniversary

PlayStation Plus has a new bonus free gift for all subscribers to claim.

Later this week marks the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, which launched way back on 29 June, 2010 for the PS3.

The service has changed pretty dramatically over the years, with things like cloud saves, demos, and huge game libraries all being added later down the line as new features.

So with it now being 15 years since the initial release of PlayStation Plus, Sony is offering a new freebie for anyone who is currently subscribed to any tier (Essential, Extra, Premium) of the subscription service.

This month, you’ll be able to pick up the PS Plus Pack for Valorant. It includes 2x Prelude to Chaos Gun Buddy, 1x Kohaku & Matsuba Player Card, 1x Imperium Spray, 1x Chronovoid Spray, 10x Radianite Points.

All the items included in this bundle are cosmetic, so it doesn’t give any gameplay advantages over players who don’t have the pack. Still, it’s a nice little bonus if you’re a fan of the game.

In addition to this, PlayStation Plus is also offering more bonuses over the summer.

PS Plus Premium will soon have free demos for Monster Hunter Wilds and WWE 2K25 available, and this weekend will also see online multiplayer be available for non-subscribers.

Exclusive discounts on titles like Sniper Elite: Resistance, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 and Star Wars Outlaws will also be available if you’ve been meaning to pick them up.

This news comes with the announcements of what games will be available as part of PlayStation Plus Essential next month.

Starting from next week, you’ll be able to claim Diablo 4, The King of Fighters 15, and Jusant and add them to your game libraries.

To access these benefits, load up your PS4 or PS5, head to the PlayStation Plus app and access benefits from there.
