PlayStation Plus subscribers can currently download and play one of the greatest RPGs of all time, and I guarantee this is one adventure you won't want to miss.

It's not exactly been the best month PlayStation Plus subscribers, especially in comparison to Xbox Game Pass, which recently gave subscribers Starfield. Meanwhile, PlayStation fans have been given one of the worst months of free games the service has ever seen, and a price increase across all three tiers. This latest freebie might not completely make things better, but it might take some of the sting out.

Take a look at the masterpiece in question below!

CD Projekt RED's genre-defining open-world masterpiece The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently free to download and play for PlayStation Plus Premium users as part of a four-hour trial.

That's probably enough time for you to fully explore the game's starting area, terrify some locals, and reunite with Yennefer. Honestly, if you find yourself not wanting to play any more after that, there's something fundamentally wrong with you.

This free trial is for the PlayStation 5 version of the game, which includes improved visuals, new content, and reworked gameplay. It's quite honestly such a comprehensive update that I argued it probably shouldn't be free when I reviewed it last year.

Anyway, go and play The Witcher 3 if you have a PlayStation Plus Premium account. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough, and I walk around recommending it an awful lot.

Truly, it is one of the best RPGs ever made. The world is massive, the quests are beautifully written, and the performances are amazing across the board, from Doug Cockle's inimitable Geralt to the bandits who threaten to rip off our melons and shit down our necks. Colourful. Stop reading this and go see what you've been missing!
