PlayStation Plus subscribers can play this underrated gem that you won't want to miss at no extra cost.

Other than getting to play some AAA bangers such as Ghost of Tsushima, God of War (2018), The Last of Us Part I and much more, PlayStation Plus also grants an opportunity to play some fantastic indie darlings that may have otherwise flown under our radar.

One such indie game is developed and published by Aggro Crab - none other than the action-adventure title Another Crab’s Treasure. However, don’t be fooled by its charming SpongeBob SquarePants-esque visuals, because this fun game is surprisingly challenging.

“Another Crab’s Treasure is a soulslike adventure set in a crumbling underwater world,” reads the synopsis of the game.

“As Kril the hermit crab, you’ll need to wear the trash around you as shells to withstand attacks from enemies many times your size. Embark on an epic treasure hunt to buy back your repossessed shell, and discover the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean.”

It sounds as if the game has already captured the attention of the PS Plus community on Reddit.

“PS Plus Extra game catalogue bonus title, Another Crab’s Treasure, is now available in all regions,” announced Redditor kabirsingh84.

“This will be my next game for Platinum. Thanks for the heads-up,” replied rhymeg.

“For those on the fence, this game is super fun and on the lighter side of soulslikes,” explained Fun_Awareness4928.

“I’d recommend it, the game is so good,” said Ok_Cloud8134.

“Such a great game.. has some performance issues in some zones but overall awesome,” replied welfedad.

Unlike games that are added to your library via the PlayStation Plus Essential tier, games in the Extra and Premium tiers often come and go on rotation. So if you want to play Another Crab’s Treasure, you might want to do so soon, just in case it leaves before you get a chance to at a later date.

Another Crab’s Treasure is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It’s included in both the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers.
