PlayStation Plus users should check out a criminally underrated RPG that you can also play online.

While the cost of a PlayStation Plus subscription is a point of contention with users, you can’t deny that for the amount of games at your disposal with an Extra subscription or higher, it’s pretty good value for money.

Even more so when you take into consideration how many RPGs and open-world games you can play, like Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey just to name a few.

However the RPG we’re talking about today is one you may have not heard of, but it’s well-worth adding to your backlog and giving it a go.

It’s called Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, which HowLongToBeat reckons takes on average of 60+ hours to finish, making it a great option if you’re looking for a long-term RPG to sink your teeth into.

The game’s description reads: “Set forth on an epic adventure in a fictional Dark Ages sandbox that combines strategy and action-RPG gameplay.

“Carve out your own kingdom or champion another’s cause as you explore the vast, reimagined continent of Calradia in this prequel to the critically acclaimed, Mount & Blade: Warband.”

You can create your own character and engage in colossal battles both in single-player and online, whether it be in casual or competitive modes.

It looks like good fun, and bound to keep you occupied for a few hours even if you don’t fancy seeing it through to the end.

At the time of writing you can play the full-game from start to finish as long as you have a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription.

If it doesn’t look like your cup of tea though worry not as there are loads of other games to choose from.
