Your free PlayStation Plus Essential games for November are now live, with three new titles available to download.

Each month, PlayStation drops several new games onto its PlayStation Plus Essential tier, allowing you to download and play them for as long as you hold an active subscription.

It’s a great investment if you have a limited budget and want to get a few free games each month on top of your online multiplayer subscription.

As announced at the end of October, PlayStation Plus is now dropping three more free games for the month of November. These games are Stray, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, and EA Sports WRC 24.

Stray, which was also featured on PlayStation Plus Extra as a launch title, is about a lost cat who attempts to escape a walled city inhabited by robots. It’s partially a puzzle game, partially a platformer, and has some action escape sequences to boot.

Meanwhile, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is a strategy game where you must build up an army and defeat the enemy. It’s less about managing multiple types of resources though, and more about having the patience and cunning to build up your armies.

Finally, EA Sports WRC 24 is a racing game where you drive various rally cars across a series of tracks, and features many different types of cars. This one will appeal to fans of the sport, especially those who grew up playing the older WRC games.

All three games are available from today, 4th November, where you’ll be able to redeem and add them to your game libraries until 2nd December.

In terms of how this month’s offerings stack up against last month’s, which were Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3, fans have expressed disappointment in one of the games being a repeat of an earlier PlayStation Plus freebie.

Indeed, Stray launched on PlayStation Plus Extra back in 2022, and was removed about a year later. However, it being added to PlayStation Plus Essential at least means that you’ll have permanent access to the game for as long as your subscription remains active.

As for when we’ll hear about the new games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, those announcements usually come in the middle of the month. So we’ll likely be able to hear about that in a couple of weeks’ time.
