PlayStation gamers can grab a new free download now without PS Plus

This one's perfect for cosy gamers

If you’re an avid collector of PlayStation Plus’ digital collectibles then you’re in luck as a brand new campaign has just landed on PlayStation Stars.

PlayStation Stars is well worth keeping an eye on, if you don’t already. While, yes, the digital collectibles may not appeal to everyone, you can easily bag yourself free store credit too.

Users will earn points on all PlayStation Store purchases, including PlayStation Plus subscription fees, with top-ups available via easy campaigns that often task you with playing a certain title.

To give you an idea of how easy it is to secure credit, my PlayStation Plus extra tier renewal recently added 1,000 points to my account. You need just 1,250 to get £5 of store credit.

As I mentioned though, you can also secure a variety of digital collectibles to adorn your virtual trophy shelf - and the latest offering has now landed.

Dave The Diver is a must-play addition to PlayStation Plus. Take a look at the game in action below.

The campaign is titled ‘Wind Down with PlayStation’ and it’s the ‘Fuzzy Sheep Ottoman’ that’s up for grabs.

Perfect for all of you cosy gamers, this campaign tasks you with simply playing one of the four following titles: Open Roads, Melatonin, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, or Mystic Pillars - Remastered.

There’s no playtime requisite for this so if you already have Melatonin installed from a previous playthrough, for example, you can simply boot it up again and the reward will unlock.

If you’re yet to dive into any of these titles, Open Roads is a narrative-driven game that follows the story of 16-year-old Tess who takes a roadtrip with her mother to uncover a series of mysteries after unearthing a bunch of old notes and letters in her attic.

Playing out somewhat like a visual novel, it stars Kaitlyn Dever - soon to portray Abby in HBO’s The Last of Us - and will set you back £15.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Melatonin is slightly cheaper at £11.99, and this one’s a rhythm game. Exploring the relationship between dreams and the experiences we have when we’re awake, you’ll be tasked with finding sonic harmony between the two.

Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is a quintessential cosy game where you can craft, farm, befriend creatures, fight monsters, and build your own home. This one will cost you £18.99.

Finally, there’s Mystic Pillars - Remastered which is the cheapest of the bunch at £7.99. PlayStation Plus users can also grab this one from the extra tier catalogue.

It’s a story-based puzzler set in Ancient India that reimages the traditional Indian board game Ali Guli Mane. You assume the role of a traveller, journeying across the Kingdom of Zampi.

Four delightful games, one free collectible for playing them. It’s a win-win.
