Bloodborne fans obsessed with surprise PS5 return

Bloodborne fans obsessed with surprise PS5 return

PlayStation continues to deliver us crumbs, but they’re crumbs that we’ll reliably devour.

Will Bloodborne ever benefit from a remake or a remaster? It’s hard to say.

We have clowned time and time again, with Sony continuously stringing us along.

Bloodborne certainly wasn’t featured in this week’s PlayStation 5 Pro showcase - that much we know.

Given just how poorly the console’s high price point has been received though, maybe a Bloodborne PS5 Pro remaster is exactly what’s needed to shift units.

In the meantime, Sony did recently put Bloodborne: The Old Hunters’ soundtrack on Spotify for the first time so you can now listen to that to your heart’s content.

If you’ve played Astro Bot, then you’ll know that so too were we delivered additional crumbs in that game thanks to the inclusion of several VIP bots.

Astro Bot is out now. Take a look at the game in action below.

Admittedly, I’m a tad disappointed that we didn’t see a full Bloodborne-inspired level but then again, I wouldn’t want to remove any other of the themed levels either.

Still, we did get several VIP bots.

Throughout the game, players can find Lady Maria (Nightmare Guardian) and The Hunter (Yharnam Tourist), as well as acquiring a Bloodborne-inspired outfit to wear for themselves.

While this is hardly the remaster we’re after, fans are nonetheless thrilled.

“THE LADY MARIA ONE IS SO CUTE,” screamed reddit user LmaoGoFaster, while ericbana19 commented, “Such a cute game. I love them.”

“Well, well, well, so they do know Bloodborne exists,” added IggiBoii.

“And this is all the Bloodborne content we’ll get for the next 20 years,” decreed ruttinator.

I’m itching for Bloodborne content as much as the next person but so too is it exciting to see what else is in FromSoft’s future.

With Shadow of the Erdtree now having launched, we’re pretty in the dark as to what’s next from the acclaimed studio.

I’m sure whatever they’re cooking up though is sure to be a treat.
