Bloodborne fans are loving a new game that’s just appeared on PlayStation Plus.
PlayStation Plus regularly offers free games as part of the service, and depending on which tier you’re subscribed to will change how many games you have access to.
At the beginning of each month, all PS Plus members regardless of the tier will have access to a bunch of monthly games that are offered as part of PlayStation Plus Essential. These games are yours to keep as long as you stay subscribed.
One of the latest additions for this month is Lies of P, a soulslike action-adventure with imagery and themes very evocative of FromSoftware’s Bloodborne.

Considering Bloodborne is so tightly interwoven with the PlayStation image, it being one of the platform’s most beloved exclusive games, fans are currently enjoying the latest addition to the service.

“I've had my eyes on Lies of P since before it was released but never pulled the trigger,” wrote one fan on Reddit. “Looking forward to having no excuse not to play!”
“It's spectacular,” another fan replied. “I'm a FromSoft die-hard and if I want a souls fix, I'm gonna reach for LoP before a lot of the games in their catalogue. If you particularly enjoy Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, this feels like a spiritual successor to that era while From did something different with Sekiro and Elden Ring.”
“If you have any hesitation towards Lies of P this is your chance,” another fan added. “This is as close as you can possibly get to more Bloodborne. It truly is on the same level if not higher in some aspects.”
Alongside Lies of P, you can also grab DayZ and My Hero One’s Justice 2 this month, so they should each offer a different experience depending on what you want.

Lies of P is available to download on PS4 and PS5 with any active PlayStation Plus subscription.
These games will be available until 1st September, 2025, so there's plenty of time to grab them before they leave the service.
