Yesterday, FromSoftware’s legendary, PlayStation-exclusive title Bloodborne turned ten years old.

So, to celebrate this milestone, surely we received some kind of big announcement from Sony? Oh, we didn’t?

Ok, well, maybe we got some kind of statement commemorating the game from some big Sony exec instead? No? Alright, well, they must have made some kind of social media post at least, right? What do you mean they didn’t even post something on their blog?

Nope. Instead, to mark this event, we got… a Twitter post advertising the PlayStation 5 port of the formerly exclusive Xbox title Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Naturally, folks in the comments are not best pleased that Sony chose to overlook the game on its birthday in favour of a Microsoft title.

“more love for an xbox game than bloodborne on it's 10th anniversary…” commented user @xd3thw1shx.

“absolutely pathetic”

“IT'S BLOODBORNE'S 10TH BIRTHDAY AND THE ONLY GUY DELIVERING GAMES ON PS5 IS PHIL SPENCER?” replied user @brafya.

I didn’t expect anything from Sony or FromSoftware regarding a remaster or a sequel to Bloodborne, and yet somehow they still managed to disappoint.

Look, I think it’s fair to say there’s something weird going on with Bloodborne. Sony basically refuses to talk about it, and the fact that we don’t have a sequel or a remake implies to me that there’s a reason they can’t deliver on a follow-up.

But c’mon dude, you could have at least posted something. It’s just odd behaviour, and I genuinely can’t think of a reason why they wouldn’t commemorate it in some way.

They haven’t shut up about the fact that God of War just turned 20, so why haven’t they invested even 1% of that energy into posting something cute for Bloodborne? I just don’t get it.

Maybe they’re waiting for the date of Bloodborne’s release in Japan, which is tomorrow? Even that’s a stretch. Oh well, at least we’ll always have that little cameo in Astro Bot…
