Yesterday saw fans celebrate the 10th anniversary of the much-loved Bloodborne, but with the event passing with no word from Sony, it seems as though fans have had to take it into their own hands once again.

Taking place on 24 March, Bloodborne celebrated a huge milestone yesterday with the date marking the 10-year anniversary of the game heading to the PlayStation 4.

However, Sony let the day pass without any sort of celebration which is another blow for fans who are still holding out for an official remaster.

It seems as though the company has no interest in revitalising the game but fans are unwilling to let this slide and have called all Bloodborne fans to return to Yharnam.

Return to Yharnam is an annual community event which aims to bring both old and new players back to the game.

As a way of breathing a new lease of life into the FromSoftware title, players are encouraged to return to the game for multiple reasons: “reinvigorating the community, helping new players, and showing the developers that we still love their games” according to the official website.

Running from 24 March to 8th April, Return to Yharnam is available for all players who own Bloodborne and those participating are encouraged to make a brand-new character (although that is not a requirement) in order to help new players through the punishing game.

Despite having a dedicated fanbase, there is no denying that Bloodborne is a challenging game, especially to those who are new to Soulslike games so this will be the perfect opportunity to dive into the game whilst getting help from seasoned veterans.

In the meantime, we hope that this annual event will encourage Sony to work on that official remaster as there is no denying that Bloodborne would sell off the shelves if this was to come true.
