PlayStation and Xbox team up for new trailer, and we love to see it

Xbox and PlayStation have come together in a new trailer, bringing two iconic voice actors side by side to promote the launch date of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle coming to PlayStation 5.

The two powerhouse publishers have joined up, releasing a trailer with the two actors, in order to reveal the launch date for the PlayStation 5 version of the Xbox game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PlayStation 5 in April

Troy Baker and Nolan North are seen together, riffing on the idea of what makes a great adventurer.

Of course, Baker has, for years, been a prominent voice actor and recently stepped into the shoes of Harrison Ford, playing Indiana Jones.

North has been the voice of Nathan Drake in PlayStation’s legendary Uncharted franchise.

The adorable trailer crescendos with the theme of Indiana Jones as Nolan North opens a wooden box, glowing from within with a blue light.

As the trailer cuts away, the launch date for the game’s cross-platform release is unveiled as 17 April.

This is one of many headline titles coming over from Xbox to PlayStation, since Microsoft bought Bethesda.

Many PlayStation fans were fearful that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle wouldn’t make it o the PS5, seeing the title as a possible exclusive.

However, after a few months of Xbox exclusivity, it will finally be swinging over to the Sony console.

Beyond the combination of Xbox and PlayStation, seeing these two amazing actors play off each other and their own histories in games, is wonderful to see.

I hope we get to see more of the performers who lends their voices to amazing characters, as they can often be overlooked.

Microsoft will be bringing more of their games to the PlayStation 5 over the coming months, with many of their legacy titles, like Halo and Gears of War, rumoured to be on the horizon.
