With fans begging for new content for Hogwarts Legacy, it seems as though prayers were finally answered last week, leading to an influx of positive reactions.

Since its release in February 2023, Hogwarts Legacy has suffered as many other single-player games have in the past with a lack of further content.

Other than a brief Summer update last year, Avalanche Software has seemingly moved onto pastures new, leaving fans feeling somewhat disappointed.

However, it seems as though the cries for more have been answered and thanks to this recent Hogwarts Legacy update, there will be extra content for years to come.

As of 30 January, Hogwarts Legacy officially has PC modding support enabled.

Put simply, this means that the title will officially support modding and will make it a whole lot easier for creators to transfer their mods to the game.

We have seen this become an instant success in the past, such as when CD Projekt RED added the REDkit to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

As a result, thousands of mods appeared in the following weeks, leading to a deluge of brand-new content.

Although modding is only available to those who play on PC, it seems as though this Hogwarts Legacy update has been received well by fans.

“I'm super happy that you guys added mod support.

The game will live on for many years to come now and I can't wait to see what the community comes out with, the good and the... odd,” Twitter user Mighty Wrath commented under the official announcement.

RetroSoul agreed, adding, “This is awesome! Excited to try this out!”

One user even pointed out that “console players are jealous” over the news.

Be that as it may, any new content is good content and we hope that Hogwart Legacy’s latest update will keep the Harry Potter inspired game alive for years to come.
