The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind's best quest just got an unexpected update

It's time to revisit an iconic quest

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is often praised for its engaging narrative and writing and it is no wonder some of its quests still remain iconic to this day.

Despite being released way back in 2002, The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind has stood the test of time and still remains a triumph for developers Bethesda. Praised for its writing, story and hilarious moments, Morrowind often stands head to head with Skyrim as Bethesda’s best.

Check out The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind trailer below!

So much so that fans of Morrowind may still remember a certain quest known as Larrius Varro Tells a Little Story.

This quest saw players invited to talk to Larrius Varro about corruption after reaching a certain reputation level. Once there, Varro will explain how the city would be better off without the “bad people” so if the player would deal with it, there may be a reward at the end. Of course this is just hypothetical…

However, who would we be if we didn’t help? Not to mention the reward would be even bigger if we remained uncaught.

Unfortunately, that is easier said than done as more often than not, taking down a target would result in a massive tavern brawl which, as you can probably guess, threw our stealthy actions out of the window along with the bar stool.

Luckily, one modder has offered a solution. The mod known as Larrius Varo's Little Story – A Different Version edits the iconic quest to “allow more discretion than having a massive barfight”.

The free-to-download mod aims to fix the frustrating issue many fans had with the quest all whilst retaining the all important story.

This is just one of thousands of mods available to download for both Morrowind and Skyrim at no extra cost so don’t miss out on visiting Nexus Mods if you are eager for more content for the iconic RPGs.
