A new free download for Red Dead Redemption 2 has added a thrilling new challenge to do in the open world.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost seven years old, which is wild to think about, and in that time players have come up with all manner of challenges and achievements.
The PC version of the game is especially good for this, as having access to modding and other PC-specific features can make the game all the more interesting.
One overhaul uploaded to popular modding site Nexus Mods dramatically changes how the law works in Red Dead Redemption 2, offering new challenges to players who have exhausted everything else in the game.

Real Law Overhaul - Dispatch and Behavior Realism is a mod that makes dramatic tweaks to the law, dispatch, and civilian systems in Red Dead Redemption 2’s singleplayer mode.
The aim is for NPC behaviour to feel more realistic for players, particularly when the law gets involved.
Key features of the mod includes lawmen now responding logically and realistically based on region and crime type, with no randomly teleporting cops to throw you off.
Civilians will also now no longer attack you, and will panic and flee the scene when you start committing a crime. Instead, lawmen, bounty hunters, and guards will be the only NPCs to fight you.

The mod also adjusts the accuracy and loadouts of lawmen’s weapons, meaning shootouts might be a little fairer.
It also makes stealth a bit more viable, giving you more leeway to commit crimes without being spotted.
Real Law Overhaul is available to download on PC. If you’re on console, you unfortunately won’t be able to download and use it in your game.
It should also be stated that the mod is a work in progress, and that creator Ibr974 is continuing to update it over time. Expect bugs and weird behaviour while using this mod.
