Santa has been, presents have been unwrapped (ripped open), and we’re all so full of cheese we can hardly move. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still gifts to be found, with one of the latest coming from Cyberpunk 2077’s publisher.

Oh yes, GOG is treating you all to some free gaming, in the form of a sci-fi adventure that is giving us some serious Blade Runner vibes; it’s a postmodernism noir that will have you donning a long coat in no time!

Talk about a redemption arc with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty!

“Another cigarette tumbles into the abyss. The sun is slowly coming up, glistening in the sea of buildings below. I look up at the stars one last time before they disappear. They don't provide any guidance. They don't give a f*ck. I have to make this decision on my own, and very soon. Problem is, I don't know how. I've never been able to figure out why I do what I do. Not really.

No more time to think. I have to go.”

It’s got angst. It’s got gumption. It’s so gritty it’ll hurt to clench your jaw – it’s a noir game that comes to its conclusion through your actions, if you make a poor decision, that’s on your, detective.

Sporting a ‘Top Critic Average’ of 82, it’s evident that Lacuna is a polished, enjoyable game. What is more, it offers between five and a half to 13 hours of gameplay, depending on how much of a completionist you are.

Don’t let its pixel art style fool you, this is a game that doesn’t hold back on the choices you make – if you mess up, that’s on you, kid. If this sounds like your type of investigation, you’ll need to act fast because Cyberpunk 2077’s publisher won’t keep this game free for long.

Make your way to GOG and add it to your library now.
