Did you know that Cyberpunk 2077 publisher CD Projekt RED also operates PC storefront GOG?
Well if you didn’t, now you do.
PC users may be used to venturing over to Steam, but so too does GOG boast some competitive offers and perhaps more excitingly, free games.
In fact, a delightful little adventure-driven puzzler is being given away right now, but you only have a few days to grab it.

PC users can hop on over to GOG to claim and download Whispering Willows, developed by Night Light Interactive.
“Interact with the spirits of the dead, solve the puzzles of the mysterious mansion and help Elena find her missing father in the horror/adventure puzzle game Whispering Willows,” teases the synopsis.
If you liked Oxenfree, I’d imagine that you’d have a pretty good time with Whispering Willows, and it boasts beautifully animated visuals.

In addition to its hand drawn 2D art, players will also find themselves drawn in by the twisting plot that reveals the unsettling history of Willows Mansion.
Of course, uncovering the mansion’s secrets requires your fair share of puzzle solving, all accompanied by a spooky soundtrack.
Protagonist Elena journeys to the mansion after receiving an amulet from her now-missing father which leads her there.
The amulet allows Elena to astral project, so she can explore the ghostly realm as well as the mortal realm.
Over on Metacritic, the game holds a score of 63 but I wouldn’t be put off by that number.
Many reviewers awarded the game an eight out of 10, but so did some rate it a score of four.
At the end of the day, it’s all down to your personal tastes, so given that Whispering Willows is totally free to claim right now, I’d certainly recommend that you give it a go.
