Cyberpunk 2077 's publisher CD Projekt Red is giving away a freebie for the next 48 hours only, grab it before it goes.

GOG may be a digital storefront like Steam or The Epic Games Store but it’s also technically owned by CD Projekt Red, and it’a a great place to find free games.

This month is no different so why not treat yourself to a new game courtesy of the Cyberpunk 2077 people and download Chicken Assassin: Reloaded, yes that’s its name.

I don’t know why my first thought when casting eyes on this game were the dream sequences of Chicken Little, but if they took those scenes and made a game about them I’d assume this is what it’d look like.

The game’s description reads: “Chicken Assassin is a fast paced action-RPG with an outrageous storyline filled with over-the-top humor that boasts a myriad of colorful enemies and visually stunning levels and environments.”

It looks rather good, and it sounds like a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay so it should keep you entertained as you put together your character build.

Another plus is the game isn’t too long either as GOG will inform you of how long, on average, the games take to complete.

On a normal run of Chicken Assassin: Reloaded it’d take you around four hours to roll credits, but this can go up to around eight hours if you’re a completionist.

I’m sure that’d be time well spent as well so it’s worth giving a go, if anything because it’s free so no harm no fowl…sorry.

The game will be available to download on GOG for the next 48 hours-ish, though some of that time has elapsed already so get a move on if you want to claim it.
