Cyberpunk 2077’s publisher CD Projekt Red is giving away a variety of games for free via GOG right now, make sure you get yours.

It would seem like a lot of people don’t know GOG is owned by CD Projekt Red, after all you wouldn’t expect the Cyberpunk 2077 publisher to own a digital storefront, but it does and it’s a pretty good one at that.

It's the spooky season and Silent Hill 2 is out now, take a look at the trailer below

If you primarily play on PC then GOG is a great digital space to get both new games and demos for titles, making it a competitor for brands like Steam.

Demos especially are popular on GOG, and at the time of writing there are over 100 demos you can download and try for free.

Unfortunately they’re not the AAA bangers you’d expect from somewhere like the Epic Games Store they’re worth a look if you’re fond of indie games.

You can find the full list online, but to save you the trouble of scrolling we’ve picked out a few of the interesting ones and put their descriptions below.

We’ll start with a personal favourite of mine, Ultrakill, a lighting-fast first-person shooter that’ll test your skill like no other.

The game follows a vampiric robot barrelling through the layers of hell, blowing up demons and using their blood to replenish its health, you’ll also fight angels and ancient Gods, and it’s a bloody good time.

If that sounds too chaotic for your taste though Spiritfarer might be more your speed, as it’s a cosy, emotional title about ferrying spirits to the afterlife.

It's delightful and more than worth your time and attention, so be sure to give it a go through the demo.

There are plenty more titles to check out on GOG right now, so be sure to take a look at any that catch your eye, one might be your new favourite.
