Cyberpunk 2077 players can download a new mod that lets you possess your enemies in Night City and much more, opening up a whole new way to play.

Despite its rocky launch, CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 has become one of the most popular and immersive sci-fi RPGs of the modern era, and thanks to post-launch support from CDPR, it has morphed into a game with so many additional features that it’s likely surpassed the expectations of many fans.

Following V and their best friend Jackie Welles, the game hooks players with its gorgeous visuals, open-ended combat and seedy but enticing world inspired by Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. However, if you think you've seen everything Night City has to offer, think again, because this free Possession Quickhack mod might just change your mind.

Created by angleet, the ‘Possession Quickhack’ mod is available via Nexus Mods. Players can take full control of any human with a compatible cyberware operating system, as well as drones, androids and mechs. Just imagine all the extra mayhem you’ll be able to cause in Night City with this mod.

Sadly, no. As is the case with most Cyberpunk 2077 mods, ‘Possession Quickhack’ is a PC exclusive. This means that, for the rest of us, we’ll just have to enjoy the CDPR sci-fi RPG as originally intended. Which isn't really a bad thing, to be fair.
