Cyberpunk 2077 publisher giving away free game for a few more hours

Hurry before it's too late

GOG owners CD Projekt are back and this time they are bringing an exciting side-scrolling strategy game to players for absolutely free.

It is not common knowledge that the digital distribution platform for video games and films GOG is owned by the very same publisher as the much-loved Cyberpunk 2077.

While you're here, check out the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!

However, what is common knowledge is that the site is well-known for regularly adding free games to its site with absolutely no catch.

That is what it has done once again with the arrival of Diggles: The Myth of Fenris which is free to download for PC users until 18 November at 1 P.M. CET.

This side-scrolling strategy game mixes cinematic adventure with colony building in an underground world of dwarves.

You will play as a Diggle who lives underground and is tasked with mining resources, harvesting mushrooms and batting enemies to survive.

However, when the Godfather Odin tasks the Diggles dynasty with ridding the world of Fenris, the hound of hell, the days are about to get a lot harder.

With the Diggles more used to spending their free time bowling, going to the disco or taking a trip to the pub, taking on a mission as difficult as this will require a unique set of skills.

Luckily, Odin made each Diggle unique so it is up to you to order around the clan, all whilst making sure they still have time for leisurely activities.

With hand-crafted cutscenes full of “humour, dwarfy attitude and and their gnomish problems”, you are bound to have a laugh as you make sure your colony runs smoothly.

Diggles: The Myth of Fenris currently sits at a “very positive” rating on Steam and is now free for you courtesy of GOG.

However, with just a few hours left to grab it, there’s no time to spare.
