Cyberpunk 2077 gets brutal new mode you can download free

This will give you a lot to think about ...

If you feel that you’ve done all there is to do in Cyberpunk 2077, then you might want to think again - if you’re playing on PC that is.

Modding is a wonderful thing. With the right modding community, a game’s longevity can be secured.

You need look no further than Skyrim. That particular title may be almost 13 years old and yet subsequent playthroughs can feel wholly new due the incredible selection of fan creations out there.

Cyberpunk 2077 is another game that boasts a creative modding community. From quest-based expansions to handy new game features, there’s a mod for just about everything.

The mod I want to highlight to you today adds an incredible survival system to the game, giving you an all-new set of needs to contend with during your escapades through Night City.

Take a look at Cyberpunk 2077’s incredible Phantom Liberty expansion in action below.

Survival System’ has been created by NexusMods user DiCrash and it essentially adds a new needs system so that players have to consider Energy, Satiation, and Hydration.

A full Energy bar will become completely spent within six in-game days.

Reducing this below 95% will have a negative effect on maximum health, health regeneration, maximum stamina, stamina regeneration, memory, and memory recovery.

The Satiation bar will deplete in 10 in-game days.

Again, reducing this below 95% has a negative effect on the aforementioned factors in addition to jump height and carry capacity.

Finally, Hydration will deplete in four in-game days. If this drops below 95%, you’ll also struggle with movement speed as well as those aforementioned factors.

As you can see, there’s plenty to think about with this mod so it should make for a very different playthrough.

The good news is that it’s completely free for PC users to grab right now from NexusMods.
