Hogwarts Legacy fans are praising an exclusive side quest you can only play on the PlayStation 5.

Would-be-wizards can now play Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, soon to be joined by a Nintendo Switch port which runs better than you’d expect.

Take a look at Hogwarts Legacy below

While the similarities between the versions far outweigh the differences, largely applying to graphics and framerates, you can find exclusive secrets depending on which platform you’re playing on.

The PlayStation 5 version for instance has an exclusive quest, and horrifying, quest which many are calling ‘the best in the game’ due to its drastic shift in tone compared to the game’s other side content.

The quest involves a haunted shop, and was recently the topic of discussion on a Reddit post by SparksNBolts. The user shared their spooky shopping experience, saying they were blown away by it “changing the interior of the room you’re in,” and the shocking moment they turned around to find themselves “suddenly surrounded by mannequins.”

It’s a completely unique quest that takes full advantage of the PS5’s hardware limitations, and there isn’t an experience like it anywhere else in the game.

Players flocked to the comments, mainly to express how creepy it was to be stalked by mannequins throughout the puzzle.

One player said: “Why is it always followed by mannequins? Why is it never "Get followed by Prof. Garlick?”

Another added: “Definitely did not expect the mannequins..... I don't do horror games.”

One more stated: “Scared the crap out of me! But it was definitely a nice change of pace and surprise as I can safely say, no other quest is like.”

It’s actually quite a shame that other platforms can’t experience the quest, but its existence is cool nonetheless and adds yet another mystery to a game that’s already chock-ful of them.
