It may have been first released back in 2023, but with it going on to become the best-selling game of the year, it is perhaps no surprise that plenty of fans are still exploring the world of Hogwarts Legacy.
Inviting both Harry Potter fans and those partial to a brand-new RPG, Hogwarts Legacy was quite the success when it was first launched but a lack of content since has made players develop a love/hate relationship with the Avalanche Software title.
Despite the promise of DLCs and extended editions, Hogwarts Legacy has not delivered either and the only good news is that a sequel is still in development according to Warner Bros. itself.
In the meantime, players will have to make do with what they have but luckily, this recent project has shown just what Hogwarts Legacy is capable of looking like with a few tweaks.

Courtesy of Youtuber Digital Dreams, we can now take a look at Hogwarts Legacy on the RTX 5090 with DLSS 4 and RTX on.
Put simply, these tweaks push the Harry Potter inspired title to the maximum of its graphics capabilities and it is safe to say that it looks pretty stunning.
The showcase trailer consists of just under 9-minutes of in-game footage where the player walks around some iconic locations such as the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts itself, Hogsmeade and of course, the skies above them all.
Light slinks effortlessly through towering windows and hits the stone of Hogwarts’ Great Hall, the dying sun beams through the castle’s turrets as the player flies through the skies, and spells are a shock of neon light as they engage in battles in the depths of the forest.

It is quite simply stunning and could even be mistaken for a PlayStation 6 title in this state.
“They truly did an incredible job with this game,” one user commented.
Another said simply, “Beautiful.”
This video gives us just a glimpse of what could be possible with Hogwarts Legacy 2 so let us just hope we don’t have to wait too long to find out.
